What channels will this product pick up?
The DTVPal DVR will scan in all viewing-quality broadcast signals reaching your area depending on the quality of your antenna. In most areas this will include the major TV broadcast networks such as CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, UPN, PBS, and any additional local stations. If you have a high-quality antenna, you are more likely to pick up channels being broadcast from further away. Is it easy to install?
Yes, the product is very easy to install; Simply connect the DTVPal DVR between your antenna and your TV. The on-screen Installation Wizard will walk you through the quick and easy set-up steps.
Does this product also pick up cable channels?
No. The DTVPal DVR will only receive over-the-air signals being transmitted by local broadcasters.
Can I use this product to record my satellite and/or cable programming?
No. The DTVPal DVR is an over-the-air receiver only and will not interface with your satellite or cable receiver.
How do I know if I need a software update?
To Determine the Software Version on Your DTVPal DVR:
1. Click the Menu button on your remote and select option 3, Setup.
2. Select option 2, System Setup.
3. Select option 3, System Information, to view your Software Version.
