Reimagining the Employee Experience for HR Tech

HR Tech team collaborating

Our HR Technology team is one of our most strategic departments, driving core business strategy to enhance the employee experience.

To better serve and support our team members, we’re breaking down operational siloes and building intuitive solutions to simplify, automate, and enhance daily work. Lauren Wilson, Director, HR Enablement, shares how her team is scaling and why it’s such an exciting time in our technology journey.

Modernizing the Enterprise

Whether it’s our company-wide Workday implementation, augmenting our ServiceNow portal, or the launch of our internal AI assistant, EVA, we’re transforming HR tech and how we create lasting impact. Lauren shares one of her proudest moments was the early launch of EVA. As business priorities shifted, the team launched nearly 3 months early.

“It may make people nervous to move a launch date up by nearly three months, but there really weren't any fire drills. The team did an amazing job thinking through the necessary components and building an iterative plan. That success proved what this team is truly capable of."

Joining an AI-forward organization gives you the opportunity to work with many different parts of AI. You could be the one imagining it, measuring it, or even engineering it. We are constantly challenging ourselves and our processes, fully leveraging technology to move away from manual processes of the past.

The Mindset of Our Team

The key attributes driving this team forward? They all have a collaborative, driven, and future-thinking mindset.

  • Collaborative: With being integrated into all HR processes, there is close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization. Having a collaborative mindset is necessary to not only work closely with stakeholders but to also build these relationships to then leverage and utilize.
  • Driven: Incredible ideas go nowhere without a plan. This team is deliberate and accountable, staying on track to execute processes and plans, creating a path forward to make HR better.
  • Future-Thinking: A process in place today may need to be changed in the future. It’s important to think on how processes can be enhanced, with a focus on constantly challenging yourself.

“It may make people nervous to move a launch date up by nearly three months, but there really weren't any fire drills. The team did an amazing job thinking through the necessary components and building an iterative plan. That success proved what this team is truly capable of."
