This Chief Information Officer role is an opportunity for a visionary leader to develop and execute a global IT strategy, driving digital transformation, while ensuring robust cybersecurity and enhancing customer experiences for consumer-facing brands. Reporting to the President of Technology and Chief Operating Officer, this executive will lead a team of 1,000+. Located in Denver, this position requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of technology and a proven track record of maximizing IT's impact on business success. Standing at the corner of strategy and implementation, your teams will harness data, technology and insights to propel our organization forward.

Key Responsiblities

  • Leverage your experience to develop and execute strategies that drive forward consumer and enterprise wireless services, as well as satellite and streaming entertainment, including Boost Mobile, DISH TV, Hughes, HughesNet and Sling TV. 
  • Use your expertise in AI, data science, analytics and emerging technologies to enhance decision-making.
  • Bring your executive presence and ability to influence at all levels to collaborate and align tactical functions with corporate goals.
  • Utilize your passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends to drive efficiency across information, security and operational teams.

The interview process for the CIO role will begin with Matt contacting you to schedule a call to talk through your goals and provide further insight into joining the EchoStar team.

Following the initial conversation, you can expect to meet with the Hiring Leader, Peers and Stakeholders, the HR Business Partner/CHRO, our CEO and Chairman of the Board onsite in Denver. Matt and his team will then support you throughout the rest of the interview process with extra attention to ensure an excellent experience.
